About the Author

Paul Myers was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in southern California, the second of identical twins in what would become a family with seven raucous children.

Paul moved to British Columbia, Canada thirty years ago. His professional career has included washing cars, peeling onions, hammering nails, administrating group homes, teaching, pastoring, writing and speaking. He holds a Master of Christian Studies from Regent College, a Master of Divinity from Vancouver School of Theology, and a Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies de Troisième Cycle from the Faculté Libre de Théologie Protestante de Montpellier, France. He is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in Canada and has served communities in downtown Vancouver and West Vancouver, B.C.

An accomplished communicator, Paul has delivered over 750 public addresses, and appeared on numerous regional and national television broadcasts where he brings together his love of language, rich knowledge and witty personality.

Paul also enjoys creating in the kitchen, watching film, walking, running, playing old guys competitive baseball, outrigger canoe paddling in the waters of Howe Sound or packing his bags should anyone merely suggest a new adventure.

But people are what enrich his life the most. His spouse Dawn and two spirited adult children, Emily and Adrian, give him much happiness and the occasional and necessary correction.

Paul relishes good company and friends, marvels at every human story, and believes every person has a personal journey of great worth.
